Recipe: Spicy Lentils and Brown Rice - wicked easy!
1/2 c dry lentils
1/4 c dry brown rice
1 small can of tomato sauce
2 1/2 c of water
1/2 small onion, minced
1 heaping tsp cumin
2 bay leaves
sprinkle of Tobasco sauce
1 tbs soy suace
2 tsp balsamic vinegar
sprinkle of garlic
Put all ingredients in a med sauce pan, stir and cover. Bring to a rolling boil for a minute or so, stir and simmer until lentils and rice are tender, about 40 minutes.
