Krista Tippet, host of On Being (AKA "Speaking of Faith), had the philosopher and translator Joanna Macy on her program this past weekend. Macy has translated the work of Rainer Maria Rilke and also write about ecology. She discussed the connections between Rilke's work and the state of the world, especially pertaining to environment and sustainability. I always love listening to this program, so I was particularly glad I tuned in on this past Sunday.
