My Throwback are going to be mostly Springfield, IL related for a while since I took a bunch of good photos during my trip there last month for my sister's wedding. This long established restaurant in downtown Springfield is where the Rehearsal Dinner took place for the brides to be. Dinner was delicious and I highly recommend a visit if you're in the area!
Ny nehew and I did some exploring (AKA window shopping) while killing time in between courses of the meal. He had just received "explorer gear" as a present for being the ring bearer and needed to scout out and discover his surroundings. We found some wildlife in the window displays.
Maldaner's has been around for a while. The fixtures have a definite now retro vibe but I believe they'r authentic, not revived. Check out this chandelier.
