Boston Austen Book Club 2021 and 2022 Plans and Approximate Dates
I plan to take most of the Winter off from extra volunteer work, and that includes the Boston Austen Book Club. But I want to make sure we stick to our seasonal meetings, so here's my plan for the end of 2021 to end of 2022 for the BABC:
2021 Dates
- Thu, Dec 16 - Via Zoom - Jane Austen Birthday Book Club - Regency costume/costume pieces, and your own cake, encouraged. We will meet to discuss "A Darcy Christmas" by Amanda Grange, Sharon Lathan, and Carolyn Eberhart
2022 Plans
- Spring meeting: End of March 2022 - discuss the video series, "From Mansfield with Love" (also good to re-read Mansfield); location TBD
- Summer meeting: End of August - discuss the book "Unmentionable"; location TBD
- Fall meeting: Early November - discuss a TBD collection of letters between Jane and Cassandra, and other family and friends; location TBD
- Winter meeting: via Zoom, Dec 16 birthday celebration - discuss Stephanie Barron's "Twelve Days of Christmas"
